Rock climbing is an inherently dangerous activity. The use of anchors and protection systems involves risks that cannot be eliminated and are assumed entirely by the climber. Holds may break, rocks may fall, equipment may fail, and even experienced climbers can make errors in judgment. These objective hazards are inherent to climbing. Each climber is solely responsible for their own safety and for understanding and accepting the risks associated with the activity
