OUR MISSION
Friends of Indian Creek works with the climbing community, partners, and land managers to promote responsible climbing and provide resources to alleviate recreation impacts to the Greater Canyonlands region.
Founded in 2008 by local Moab climbers, Friends of Indian Creek was formed to promote responsible recreation to ensure the conservation of Indian Creek’s natural resources and primitive character.
Since then, both the mission and geographic extent of our organization has expanded. We now cover climbing areas in the entire Greater Canyonlands area from Moab to Indian Creek.
We focus on advocacy, stewardship, access, and education.
Please consider supporting our work.
